We love dodgeball. It’s a game that reveals and builds character.

As founders, we want to see year-round, inclusive, high-quality dodgeball available to the city of champions. Our long term goal is to build a supportive community that cares for each other and holds space for each of us to grow as people.

Our Team

  • Bill

    I am Bill. I direct and lead the business, as well as captaining a team each season.

  • Dale

    I am Dale. I direct and lead the leagues and culture in the club. I have played this sport since January 2008, traveling the world and playing at the highest levels. I believe this game reveals and builds character. I love to teach and coach, so come ask me anything!

  • Mike Campbell

    Hi, I’m Mike! I’ve been playing in 3RDC since 2023 because I wanted more opportunities to learn as a player. I never imagined I would be joining tournaments or on the leadership team when I started, but I came to learn and stayed for the vibes. I work in education during non-dodgeball hours, so helping keep files and people organized is my wheelhouse.

  • Lauren

    I am Lauren. I've played every season 3RDC has had to offer and can't wait to play more! I started playing dodgeball as a way to meet people when I first moved to Pittsburgh and found such a great community here. Now, I help with all things design and marketing for our seasons and community events. I’m always happy to help, whether it’s with design or dodgeball. Feel free to reach out to me!

  • Franco

    I’ve played every season of 3RDC and have fallen in love with the sport of dodgeball.  Along the way I’ve taken over as one of the league managers, have organized teams for USA dodgeball and Stonewall Nationals, and began a legacy of attending fish frys!  Whether it be for advice on improving your dodgeball game, or for strong opinions on small trivial matters such as if pickles are good (they aren’t), I’m your guy.

    I am Hunter. I am the Visual Media Manager for 3RDC. I take video and photos of our league, create content for our social media, and help coordinate events.

  • Victoria Schmotzer

    Hi, I’m Victoria! I have been playing dodgeball since 2023 and would say it’s my main sport. I am the organizer for our She/They Play nights and other community/social events. I love playing in tournaments so if you have any interest in this, please feel free to reach out! I try to stay up-to-date with what tournaments are going on. Fun fact: I have also made some of our T-shirt designs.

  • Tim Waddell

    Hey, I’m Tim! I’m an OG member of 3RDC, having played every season since the start. I love helping newer players sharpen their skills and watching them grow into dodgeball divas of their own. Along the way I’ve made great friends, played in many a tournament, and really honed the art of turtling in the corner to snag a catch. Feel free to reach out to me anytime—I’m always down to talk dodgeball, swap tips, or just share a laugh!

    And yes, my love for Jalapeño Hannah runs almost as deep as my love for dodgeball.
